introducing the york marketing conference

YMC 2026

This past year, The York Marketing Association (YMA) celebrated our 20th year of our annual conference! YMA is dedicated to providing an enriching and unique experience to each of its members, all while offering the tools for success for any career in Marketing. This year, YMA provided over 150 delegates from across Ontario an innovative and inspiring experience with our two-day in-person experience!

Hosted at the Arup office, YMC 2026: Momentum was the opening experience for delegates, many of whom were experiencing their very first conference. Delegates had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, learn about the companies, student opportunities and the recruitment process!

Throughout the day, our delegates participated in various interactive workshops, and built deep understandings of the dynamics of the marketing industry through engaging panels and keynote addresses. Delegates put their strategic thinking skills to the test through a real-world case competition, receiving valuable feedback from industry professionals. Delegates also had the opportunity to chat with the industry’s top corporate partners over a Q&A and open networking session.

This year YMA continues to work tirelessly to provide our delegates with one of our most innovative conferences yet. The team is excited to announce that our 21st annual conference will continue to connect aspiring young marketers to inspiring industry professionals and leading talents!

Our past sponsors have included several premier titles such as Procter & Gamble, General Mills, TELUS, Canadian Tire, Osmow's, Bell Canada, Deloitte, and many more. Our valued sponsors and corporate representatives will continue to meet with today’s top marketing students and share their impact and influence in the marketing industry. YMA is proud to connect leading talent with our partners, and actively encourage our current and aspiring marketers to THINK BIG.

We look forward to another year of challenging and expanding the bright minds of our YMC delegates and case competitors in 2027!
